Campionato Universitario AI 2026 – AI Based Challenge for STEM Students

The Campionato Universitario AI returns this year with a competition for students and recent graduates in STEM disciplines. The challenge will take place across several locations, including the University of Milano-Bicocca on Tuesday, September 8.

Participants will be divided into teams and challenged to develop a solution using AI tools and any other programming language of their choice. Each project will be evaluated by a panel of experts, with a prize awarded to the winning team at the end of the competition.

Objectway will be joining the Milan event with Marta Conti, HR Business Partner, and Alessandro Arneodo, Associate Data Scientist. They will introduce participants to Objectway, share insights into our company culture and be available to meet students through short one-to-one conversations, providing information about career opportunities for young talents.

Alessandro is a Data Scientist in the Objectway Innovation Team in Milan, where he explores how to embed AI into business processes and helps lead AI initiatives from concept to production. He delivers a wide range of solutions, from RAG pipelines and computer vision to cloud analytics and agentic, production-grade LLM applications on modern cloud infrastructure. He brings a distinctive interdisciplinary perspective to tech innovation, bridging collaboration with international teams, business optimization, and cutting-edge technology.
